Father 

Tales of valour and wisdom you told,

Inculcated values and made me bold,

Father! Though sense and meanings have changed,

Yet the those moments in my mind are ingrained,

Galaxies and constellations still I remember,

You painstakingly my love for knowledge inflamed.
