A toast to you,

Confetti showered,

From grocery list,

To legal documents,

Who can deny ,

Your importance, O paper,

You transport great thoughts,

Events and facts,

From time immemorial,

To present day,

Knowledge becomes eternal,

When etched on you,

A lover’s billet-doux,

Emanating fragrance,

A kings order oozing gore,

Wouldn’t have been possible,

Without you sure,

You talk, you convey a lot,

Whether a simple story,

Or mind’s complicated galore.
